We will spend time going over your health history form and any other questions you may have. I then may do a body read to assess posture and alignment before you get on the table to receive the bodywork. Work will primarily focus on belly and chest and work from superficial to deep.

Do not apply any lotions, oils, or other topical creams/medications the day of your session.

No. Massage focuses on muscles. This work targets fascial layers and deep organ realignment. However, similar to massage, this work can feel very good and can also bring sensations of discomfort.

Due to the depth of this work, an IUD is at risk of moving out of its position and potentially being rendered ineffective.

You dress down to your comfort level. Some clients are comfortable completely naked. Some clients leave their underwear and/or bra on. If you choose to wear a bra, it will preferably not be underwire.

Our bodies hold a lot of memory. When a body is being touched and attuned to in a way it maybe never has before, it can bring up past trauma or emotion to the surface. It also may not. There is nothing inherently good or bad about it happening or not happening.
This work holds a lot of space for trauma, shame, and other things that may arise in the body, however it is not therapy and I am not a mental health therapist. If you are moving through acute trauma or have a history of severe trauma that has not been addressed, it is advised to seek out professional help from a therapist first or in conjunction with this work.

This work is centered around women’s anatomy and physiology and women’s organs coming back into alignment.
This work can be highly beneficially to men as well, however this is not the focus of my training. If you are a man who is interested in receiving this work, reach out and we can discuss.
